Bishop Kamau said this during a colorful Eucharistic celebration in which he administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 147 catechumens of St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Parish- Waithaka.
In his homily, his Lordship told the catechumens, “the sacrament you will receive is a mark you will bear from the Holy Spirit that sets you apart as God’s witnesses of truth to the world.”
He further called on them to be witnesses of Christ in their actions in the society by emulating their patron saint, St. Charles Lwanga a Uganda Martyr who died for his faith. “You have now matured in faith, may the Holy Spirit guide you in all your endeavors” he invited.
