A NEW PARISH IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NAIROBI

Archbishop Philip Anyolo has announced the creation of a new parish; Our Lady Consolata Kahawa Farmers. This declaration was made during the archdiocesan ordination held at the Holy Family Minor Basilica.

The new parish was curved out from St Joseph Mukasa parish, Kahawa West.  This parish is in Ruaraka deanery, bringing the parishes in that deanery to eleven and at 115 in the Archdiocese of Nairobi.

Fr. Calisto Nyangilo who is also the Judicial Vicar of the Archdiocese of Nairobi is the first Fr.-in-Charge of the new parish and will be assisted by Fr. Boniface Mburu one of the newly ordained priests. The parish will be inaugurated at a later date.
