St. Clare men’s seminar
St. Clare men’s seminar took place on 20th March 2022 under the coordination of Catholic Men Association (CMA) group. The seminar was attended by about 200 men. The facilitators were Ms. Miriam Mwangi who is the Family Life Coordinator in the Archdiocese of Nairobi and Ken Munyua a psychologist.
Miriam dealt on the role of men in the family, church and society. She reminded the men that God gave instructions to them on how to lead the world and gave them power and authority. Women only need security, leadership and affection from men.
Ken Munyua taught men in depth on how to maintain faith in times of distress and not to give up. With several verses from the Bible, he talked on how to choose compassion over convenience, how to be generous, roles to play in church, how to unleash the power of prayer and many more. He told men that like Jesus is the head of his mystical body (the church), men are heads of the family and indeed indispensable pillars of the church and society.
The men enjoyed and leaned a lot from this seminar.
