NAIROBI ARCHDIOCESE EMBARKS ON ITS STRATEGIC PLAN 2023-2028
The Archdiocese of Nairobi is in the process of finalizing its Strategic Plan (SP). This project was started in early August 2022. The SP will run through 2023-2028. Various key stakeholders have been consulted by the committee spearheading the project to give their proposals on different areas that will take the archdiocese to the next level.
Among the stakeholders who gave their proposals to the committee are, the Local Ordinary, the Auxiliary bishop, heads of departments in the secretariat, the clergy, and the laity through their deanery pastoral councils.
In an interview with the procurator of the archdiocese of Nairobi, Fr. Simon Ng’ang’a, he said, “Every Organization needs a roadmap and it is our mandate to ensure that the archdiocese has one for the next five years. We have all the stakeholders being engaged even to the parish level so we all move together in synodality in building a wholesome archdiocese.”
During the series of presentations, various views were put across that would help the archdiocese to grow in all ways.
The launching of the SP will be announced at a later date in December.
