ARCHDIOCESAN PMC FESTIVALS HELD
The Annual Archdiocesan PMC Music Festivals at the Archdiocese level were held at Our Lady of the Rosary parish, Tinganga. The festivals organized and led by the archdiocesan PMS office began at the deanery level where the 14 deaneries participated and saw other teams proceed to the diocese level.
The aim of the festivals as explained by Fr. Ignatius Njue, PMS Director, is for children to come together in sharing their faith. Fr. Njue urged the children to be more involved in church activities and live their motto which is children helping children.
“In Church, you will find peace for you will know more about Jesus. In this transformation may you be life-givers to other children by sharing what you have with them,” he said.
Various items were presented such as; singing games, choral verses and own composition. Sr. Catherine Kaua, the PMC coordinator commended the discipline observed during the festivals. She remarked that such opportunities bring joy to the children as they also get a chance to interact with others from across the Archdiocese.
