RADIO MARIA KENYA – NAIROBI, Opened and Blessed by His Eminence John Cardinal Njue
His Eminence John Cardinal Njue on 25th November 2019 opened and blessed the new Radio Maria Kenya – Nairobi, located at St. Peter Clavers parish. Mass was led by His Eminence concelebrated by the priest director Fr. Gerald Omunyin CECC and the parish priests St. Peter Clavers among other priests present.
During the Homily His Eminence called on the Christians and priests to support this project and make sure that it lives up to its expectations; that is spreading the word of God.
His Eminence also thanked Radio Horeb in Germany for their immense support and good will to make sure that the radio is up and running.
The radio is currently broadcasting on a short range (community) frequency 99.9 FM that covers westlands area only. This is for the meantime as the process of acquiring a wider (commercial) frequency that will cover the entire Archdiocese of Nairobi and even beyond.
This process doesn’t come without it’s hurdles and therefore we request your prayers.
