CULTIVATE THE SEED OF PRAYER IN YOUR VOCATION. BISHOP KAMAU ADJURES SEMINARIANS
His Lordship Bishop David Kamau, the Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Nairobi has called on all seminarians to live a life of prayer and unity so as to become a blessing to the people of God.
This he said during the annual seminarians meeting held at the Clergy Home in Ruaraka which was attended by all the seminarians from the Archdiocese.
Bishop Kamau further reminded the seminarians that priests have only one mission and that mission is to build the kingdom of God. Therefore, prayer is the call to priesthood, without prayer there is no purpose to priesthood, he added.
Addressing the seminarians, Fr. Joseph Kariuki, who was the facilitator of the day encouraged them to foster unity together with the priests and the bishops, as the priest in the Archdiocese are known to be united. Fr. Kariuki also shared his experience as a priest with them in a bid to encourage them complete their journey of formation successfully.
The Vocations Director, Fr. Paul Ngoe was glad that the seminarians availed themselves for the meeting and called on them to be people of outstanding character in parishes and in the seminary as that will directly translate to the priests they will become in the near future.
