A CALL TO SERVE IS A CALL OF HUMILITY. PMC ANIMATORS REMINDED
The PMC Animators from the Archdiocese of Nairobi have been reminded of their calling to serve God’s Children placed under their responsibility. This reminder to them was made by Fr. Bonaventure Luchidio, National PMS Director, KCCB during the annual pontifical missionary children animators Mass held at Queen of apostles, Ruaraka.
He said, “Being a missionary means accepting the call of being the living tabernacle in preaching the Gospel of Christ to the entire world and more so to the children and bring them closer to God. To be tabernacles, it requires you to be good role models/witnesses by sharing in the love, joy and in communing together with those placed under your responsibility.” He further added, “you are the soul of the children therefore you cannot give what you do not have.”
The event begun with an energetic talk by the keynote speaker Mr. Ken Munyua a practicing Psychologist who reenergized the teachers on key areas to work on themselves so as to pour out to children. He urged them to be creative, energetic and have a purpose when serving them for they are shaping the children’s future.
Among those present for the occasion were Fr. Celestin Muhindo, from Goma diocese who is the National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in the Democratic Republic of Congo together with Fr. Ignatius Njue, the PMS director in the Archdiocese of Nairobi and other chaplain priest and religious men and women from the archdiocese.
