YSC ANIMATORS: SKILLS ENHANCEMENT SEMINAR AT ST. PAUL’S UNIVERSITY CHAPEL
YSC animators from across the archdiocese gathered today at St. Paul’s University Chapel for a seminar aimed at enhancing their skills in managing the group. This training, organized by the archdiocesan Youth Office, brought together animators from various parishes to better prepare them for their roles.
Fr. Victor the Youth Chaplain in a letter addressed to all YSC Patrons and matrons, it read. “Your main role will be to accompany the YSC and coordinating between them, the priests (including Deanery YSC Chaplains), and parents enabling the youth group to achieve its purpose. You are to ensure good cohesiveness among the stakeholders and the young people themselves and accompany the youth in all their activities as responsible adults especially those that involve traveling out of the parish”
Speaking during the seminar he said, “We want to mentor youths to be formed into responsible Christians as well as citizens.”
