ARCHBISHOP PHILIP ANYOLO HOLDS A LUNCHEON FOR ALL CARITAS NAIROBI DONORS AND PARTNERS.
The Metropolitan Archbishop of Nairobi, His Grace, Philip Anyolo has held a luncheon at his residence in Lavington to appreciate the existing Caritas Nairobi partners and to discuss future collaboration and partnerships. This Luncheon was held on behalf of Caritas Nairobi, the aid and development agency of the Archdiocese of Nairobi.
Rev. Fr. Kiarie, the Caritas Director, emphasized in his welcoming speech that their mission is to support vulnerable communities by fostering a just, self-reliant, and value-driven society. He highlighted the organization’s commitment to addressing social, economic, psychological, health, and educational challenges through various intervention programs. Fr. Kiarie acknowledged that these milestones have been achieved through strong partnerships, which have been instrumental in driving their initiative forward.
Caritas Nairobi collaborates not only at the local level but also through its strong ties to the global Caritas Internationalis network, which extends from Rome to regional bodies such as Caritas Africa and Caritas Kenya. Fr. Kiarie emphasized that these cultivated partnerships foster a future of hope and trust, strengthening the Church’s mission to serve those in need.
He further called on partners and donors to collaborate with the church in supporting vulnerable communities, emphasizing the need for continued support in evangelization, education, health, and social work.
