“THERE IS STRENGTH IN UNITY”, CHRISTIANS IN SOWETO PARISH TOLD.
Archbishop Philip Anyolo has encouraged Christians to cultivate a heart of gratitude in all circumstances, emphasizing that a positive attitude can open doors to greater blessings. He delivered this message during a Mass celebration at Sts. Joachim and Ann Soweto Parish.
“When you have a heart of gratitude, you will see the power it has to transform lives,” Archbishop Anyolo stated. “I encourage you to build your community—there is strength in unity. Your commitment as one people in faith will allow God’s work to flourish and bring transformation into your lives.”
During the celebration, 12 couples renewed their marriage vows, reaffirming their love and commitment before God and the Church. This symbolic act reflected the Church’s growth and brought renewed hope to families, particularly during this Jubilee Year of Prayer, a time when all Christians are encouraged to seek God’s intervention in every aspect of life.
