MEMBERS OF THE PONTIFICAL MISSIONARY CHILDHOOD URGED TO SPREAD HOPE THROUGH CHARITY
Members of the Pontifical Missionary Childhood (P.M.C) in the Archdiocese of Nairobi have been encouraged to bring hope to their fellow children by engaging in acts of charity, especially during this Jubilee Year of Hope.
Speaking during the P.M.C annual Mass at St. Mary’s Msongari grounds, Fr. Frank Njoroge, the P.M.S assistant coordinator, emphasized the importance of faith and reconciliation. He urged children to seek repentance and reconnect with God, describing Him as a God of restoration who reassures and inspires His people.
Fr. Njoroge also encouraged young missionaries to remain prayerful, particularly by turning to Mother Mary through the rosary. He reminded them that in times of challenge, faith in God provides strength, and the closer they draw to Him, the more He nourishes them with His goodness.
The event attended by over 50,000 children together with their priest chaplains and P.M.C animators reflected the spiritual growth of children in the archdiocese through consistent Spirituality programs offered in the diocese. It also underscored the vital role of prayer and charity in living out the mission of the P.M.C, reinforcing the call for young faithful to be beacons of hope in their communities.
