BISHOP KAMOMOE URGES CHRISTIANS TO SUPPORT CHURCH PROJECTS DURING GROUNDBREAKING AT RIARA PARISH OUTSTATION
Riara, Nairobi — Bishop Simon Peter Kamomoe has called on Christians from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Riara Parish outstation, to remain active and consistent in supporting parish projects to ensure the continued growth of the Church.
The Bishop made the remarks during a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new rectory at the outstation. Addressing the faithful, Bishop Kamomoe emphasized the importance of personal commitment to the work of God and the collective responsibility of building the Church.
“A man who builds the Church builds himself,” he said in his homily, encouraging parishioners to embrace their faith with pride and to be self-driven in supporting Church initiatives. He reminded them that blessings follow those who contribute to the building of God’s house.
Parish Priest Fr. Paul Maichuhie lauded the faithful for taking the bold step to initiate the rectory construction, assuring them of his full support throughout the project.
“I am proud of you for stepping forward. I promise to journey with you for the good of the Church,” he stated.
