CLERGY OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NAIROBI GATHER FOR MEMORIAL PRAYERS
The clergy of the Archdiocese of Nairobi convened at St. Mary’s Msongari Grounds for a solemn prayer service in remembrance of the departed priests of the Archdiocese. The gathering offered an opportunity for the clergy to unite in faith and gratitude for the lives and ministry of their late brothers who dedicated themselves to the service of God and His people.
Presiding over the celebration, His Lordship Bishop David Kamau reflected on the priestly call to self-sacrifice, reminding the clergy: “In the Eucharist, we die and rise every day as servants of Christ. Just as the life of Jesus becomes a sacrifice, so too does ours become a sacrifice. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches that when you do what you are called to do, you are fulfilling your duty and that is our responsibility.”
